Le Dermatologist Visit -3rd Visit-

Le Dermatologist Visit - 1st Visit -

Le Dermatologist Visit - 2nd Visit -

Am back with my skin update! Met up with Dr. Magda for the 3rd time to check on my skin (31st of October 2015). Current skin condition is pretty complicated. Skin got worst at the beginning of the treatment, then it got better, got worst awhile later and now it's getting better again. LOL! So much of a roller coaster I can't even decide on what to say! That's pretty much why I update quite late.
Worst of all...I found a new born pitted scars! HA! One on my right cheek, a lil bit above my cheek and another on my chin! Felt miserable for as long that I look at my face on the mirror. HAHAHAHA!! Fortunately I don't see mirrors that often so yeah...I'm ok.
Felt like giving up. But after doing my research on Adapalene using Google, I found that it is normal for the skin to experience roller coaster like conditions. Apparently it took around 3 months - 6 months to see results. I'm going to wait for another few months to decide. Longest would be a year...hopefully I'd see a tiny ray of hope! *fingers crossed
So what do I get on my third visit? Since I still have some leftover products from last month, I only got myself a few things. Another portion of Reliv Tablets, Acne Topical Cream and a new Night Cream! If during the first month she gave me something called AV2 and AV cream the following month, this month I was given SIL. Seriously have no idea on what they are. I wonder why most dermatologist items doesn't have ingredients lists on them packaging. Haven tried SIL since I'm currently trying to finish that AV cream. LOL!
One benefit I see from going to this dermatologist is that you're gonna have a nice smooth skin! My face always felt so smooth everytime my hands were to touch them during face wash. HAHAHA!
How was the skin? Less itchiness experienced during this month and less acne along the jaws too! Though no doubt my skin still got red very fast.
Below are pictures on my skin progress:

Nothing extreme...something slow but consistent I guess?? For this month I spent less than previous months. *happy* Total damage was IDR 372k. Till next update! Off to do my freelance work~~ Good night!

Both bro and I have been craving for steamboat since months ago. Anything soup-y la. So we've been keeping our eyes and ears for any place serving decent steamboat. That's when he came across this family restaurant called "Washoku Sato". A newly opened restaurant in Mall of Indonesia, who offered a nice "All You Can Eat Shabu - Shabu" deal of Pay 1 for 2! Sugoiiii~~~~

Claimed as the largest chains of Japanese Family Restaurant with 197 branches spread across Japan, we were excited to give it a try! From what I know, they've opened their first restaurant's branch here in Jakarta. But they're far from where I am...So if their other branches are closer to you, you can give it a try there!

WASHOKU SATO
Central Park 1st Floor No. 118 - 119
Phone : (021) 2920 0232

Waiting area

Queued for awhile as there's a number of people ahead of us who were also waiting to be seated. Maybe they're interested in the offer too! Hahaha...

Interior

The interior for this place were pretty much the same as any other Japanese restaurants that I've been to. Quite cozy coz it wasn't noisy that day.

All You Can Eat Shabu - Shabu Menu

Their Shabu - Shabu is separated into 2 different range: Sato Shabu for the price of IDR 158k and Sato Shabu Premium for the price of IDR 188k. The only difference about these two choices are the numbers of options (food to choose from). With Sato Sabu offering a variety of 31 different menu and Premium leading at 80!

I'd recommend going for the premium one as the price difference is not much. With just a slight difference in price you get to enjoy a variety of 80 menus. Good deal...yes?

Choices you get for SATO SHABU

Choices you get from choosing SATO SHABU PREMIUM
(31 menu from Sato Shabu + additional 49 menu)

Terms and Conditions

Please read on the terms and conditions above as this place is a little bit different compared to other "all you can eat" restaurants. Especially their time limit of 1 and 30 minutes and that you can only make your order during the first one hour.

On a side note, Washoku Sato serve ala-carte menu too...In case you're not in the mood for Shabu - Shabu but wanted to eat their ala - carte instead. Anyway, after choosing which of the two choices you'd like to go for, you get to choose two soup base.

Choices of soup base :
Chanko Soup (Dashi or chicken broth soup base)
Katsuo Soup (Bonito Broth)
Konbu Soup (Kelp)
Pirikara Soup (Hot & Spicy)
Sukiyaki (A mixture of sake, soy sauce, sugar, mirin and dashi)

Sorry if I make any mistakes on the soup explanation. The descriptions are based solely on what I know. And so Bro ended up with Chanko Soup while I went for their Konbu Soup. Why Konbu? Coz I'm a big fans of Gintama's Kagura and she happened to eat Konbu alot. FML for having anime affecting my choices of food in real life. HAHAHA!

Starter Set comes with this 3

Love the details on the mushroom and flowers!

"Australian Rib-eye Beef" Fresh and juicy!

"US Short Plate Beef" These are good too!

CHANKO SOUP (LEFT) KONBU SOUP (RIGHT)

As it was pretty late and I only ate a lil bit in the afternoon as I'm busy with work (no time for lunch)...so at the end I just toss everything inside the bowl. That's why you see those meat lying inside instead of dipping them...LOL!

I didn't try bro's Chanko Soup. So I don't know how to explain the taste in details. Plus there's no spoon and I don't know why are we not asking for any spoon. Perhaps too shy to ask coz we saw none of the table have spoon on their table. LOL! Didn't get to taste my own Konbu Soup too. But from eating my veggies and such I can say that the soup is refreshing and light! In my opinion these soup gives off a feeling of "HEALTHY" soup!

Dipping sauce and such
(With missing Pirikara Miso which I wanted to try so much!)

For your info they'll give you a sheet of papers with names of foods that you can choose from for you to tick and order. Each order with the max. order of 10 items. And so here comes our choice of food!

2 sets of Nigiri Sushi Sakura

This is our fav! All three were soooo GOOD! Especially the salmon! So fresh and milky~ Not to forget that the size of the sushi rice is just perfect! It fits in the mouth! HAHAHA~~

Dashimaki Tamago

Salmon Skin Fry

Tried only one of this and I find it to be crispy, hard, dry and tasteless. But according to bro who ate all of them, some of it were good. Especially those with some of the meats.

Pirikara Tori Kaarage

I like this one! Juicy and fresh! Though to be picky I love the one sold at Ippeke Komachi better. The one sold there were more flavorful. Flavorful as in that it was well marinated.

More servings on Nigiri Sushi Sakura + Gunkan Sushi

Salmon Kushikatsu & Potato Cheese

Don't be deceived by its pale look. These were good! They did a good job with these two. Not overcooked and I love how the cheese melts~

Fruit Salad

Peach Kakigori

Finally I tried Kakigori!!! Had been seeing them in J-Dorama and animes but never actually tried them in real life. And so they are shaved iced poured with syrups! Super sweet! Hahaha

Matcha Ice

Dunno why this one tasted so perfume-y. But it gets better the longer you ate them! Hahaha...simply magical!

Bill

Above are the lists of the food that we ordered. Minus the crab stick and Chawan Mushi which they missed serving it to us. Both also the one I ordered! HAHAHA! Why la...but it's a blessing in disguise since we were full at that time. However I'd love to try their Chawan Mushi as it's a must food for me to eat in every Japanese restaurant! Hehe...

Don't ask me why there's Wafu Miso beside the Ice Ocha...I have no idea either. Hahaha...anyway this dinner costs us IDR 234.2k with tax and service charge included. Ocha too! Twice the current price once the promo ended which it has. Worth the price I would say~ So...what you'd say? Wanna give it a try? *winks*

Beautylabo's Hair Dye in Dark Brown

As some of you might have known, I'm a big fans of Kumicky (舟山久美子  Funayama Kumiko a.k.a くみっきー)! She's a Japanese Ex-Popteen magazine model who is now working on her own fashion brand called Mico Ameri. So I am soooo HAPPY when I happened to find Beautylabo hair dye with her face beautifying the packaging lying on Watsons' rack!~

Watsons Mall Kelapa Gading

If you've read my blog post on my past trip to Thailand, then you'd know how I planned to get Beautylabo Whip Hair Dye there but was failed to do so. Fail much! Of course the one sold in Jakarta's Watsons wasn't the whip hair dye which I'm dying to collect. But I'm more than happy to find any Kumicky related items here so yeah...THANK YOU to whoever bought it here! Please bring more! The whip hair dye, Liese and Palty too please! *greedy mode: ON*

Quickly grabbed the colour which seems safe coz I was bored of light colours at that moment. The color range is pretty limited in my opinion with only 6 colours to choose from. Natural Black, Dark Brown, Natural Blonde, Pure Beige, Candy Apricot and Raspberry Pink. Saw no Raspberry Pink during my visit...not sure if it's sold out or wasn't in stock...LOL. Btw I got them few months ago so the price might've increased.

TADAAA!!! Bought Dark Brown! Though honestly I'd choose either Candy Apricot or Raspberry Pink if I were to choose image based! Hohoho...

Will not talk anything on how to use coz I think it's self explanatory. Plus they've translated the instructions in English...so yeah...hehe

| RESULTS |

Usage wise it's pretty similar with bubble hair dye. But I'd prefer bubble hair dye more coz it's neater compared to this hair dye. I did quite a mess around my ears and neck with this hair dye. *sobs*

Colour wise I think it came out pretty well. Somehow similar with the colour showed on the box. The colour is lighter under the sun though. Not sure if it was the result of my previous hair dye or what...so let me know if you have any idea about it.

Anyway...have anyone noticed that this hair dye doesn't come with a rinse-off treatment or something like that. So be warned that this hair dye will leave your hair dry plus not manageable. Imagine washing your hair with Sunlight (dishwashing liquid). That kind of feeling!

A TOTAL horror for me coz my hair have always been smooth to the point where I can comb my hair with my fingers effortlessly. I can't do that at all after that. Didn't use any conditioners that day coz I thought that my hair condition will be better the next day but I was completely wrong! Wasn't the type who use conditioner while washing my hair you see...so yeah...no conditioner in my bathroom. *blush*

Therefore...Please prepare yourself if you're into trying this hair dye. Have hair conditioners or whatever hair treatment related stuffs with you to help your hair go back to its original state. Fyi my hair is pretty much have returned to its previous condition. So it's all good.

Would I buy this again? Sadly to say...NO! It's just too drying! But I might buy this again just for the sake of collecting the boxes! HAHAHA~~~ Let me know if any of you have tried this product and if it works for you just fine. Perhaps it works differently with others.
